Hi my name is Mark and I have a 55 olds 98 2dr hardtop. I have wanted one since I was a teenager, I am now in my 40s and have finally got one. I love it, big ole cruizer. Its all stock has 130,000 miles on it runs decent , stops good, just needs some tuning and interior work. I have been looking around on here and have picked up quite a bit from you guys and gals already. looking forward to hanging out here for awhile.Added a couple pix for your viewing pleasure.
Welcome to the club ... I mean forum
. Nice looking cruiser; the color really pops. If you live in the Pacific Northwest I'm sure you'll notice there are some active CO (Classic Oldsmobile) members up there.

Welcome to CO
Nice hardtop. I have always liked the turquoise and white combo. What options do you have on your 98? PS Our Oldsmobile zone show is this Saturday at Country Village Bothell, WA. Send me a PM and I will tell you how to get there
Absolutely gorgeous 98! Welcome to CO! Enjoy all the fun that goes on. Lots'a good folks up there in the NW, too, including my Grandson, and his parents, of course. He will probably get the '68 convertible (Big Red)! He is presently (at age 9) a member of OCA.
citcapp, It has power steering, brakes, seat and windows. I noticeed the olds show is saturday but I have to work so I can't make it.I will share a liitle more history, My Dad was an olds guy he had a 50,55,56,58,69 during my childhood. The 55 was the first car I ever steered when I was 6 years old. Thanks for the comments on the olds.
sounds like your were born into an Olds family alright. I remember sitting on my dads lap and steering and well. Cops and anyone else would freak out seeing that these days.
PM me sometime, I'd love to see your car in person. Perhaps at one of the local cruise in's or at the triple X in Issaquah

Thanks Liz, I have been doing some cleaning and minor repairs this past month. Found out friday night that the wipers do not work, that was fun. Good thing I had some long boot laces in the car with me.
