turbo 350 problem
i have a 70 cutlass 350/4 barrel, when i floor it the 4 barrel opens good, but it doesn't kick down any gears it just goes, but if i manually shift it it feels quicker, how do you adjust the trans to get it to kick down? the car is all stock with low miles.

First question - is the kickdown cable from the trans to the accelerator pedal in place? If so, the cable is adjusted by moving the spring clip where the cable end passes through the accelerator arm.
