1996 Transmission Performance Capabilities

Hello,

I have a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It has been a very reliable car. I would like to know what kind of power the stock transmission can handle.

Also, if anyone has modified their stock transmission for higher performance, what mods and how much power did it handle?

I have done a search, and I have not found much on this topic.

Thank you,

tobz

Wrong forum, this is not a restoration.

Mods, please move this to Forums -> Vehicle Line-Up -> Cutlass

Thank you.

It is ok, it is still transmission repair technically if you are going to do something to it.
