Question

I've got a 1983 Olds 98 Regency 2-door w/ the 307/ 200R4 combo. I'd like to swap in the 350/ TH350 from my 75 El Camino. The engine should be no problem, what concerns me is the trans. I understand the transmissions are the same length, but does anyone know if I will need the drill the frame in order to move the crossmember forward enough?

If they are the same length tranies then just measure back from the end of the splined output shaft back to the center of your tranny mount. If there is any difference move crossmember accordingly. Hope this helps. Steve
