i need a date coded rebuildable th-400
okay so bless his heart may he rest in peace but the original owner thought it would be a brilliant idea to half ass a th-350 swap into the 68 cutlass i own
anyways i do need a rebuildable th-400 for my car...and i need one for 1968...i will be restoring this car one day and i want a "numbers matching" trans....far fetched but i know someone has what i need stuffed in a shed or garage...cmon help a fellow olds dude out![]() |

i have a 400 from my 68 delta, its in good rebuildible shape, and would be the correct year

I've got a working TH400 I just pulled out of a 1968 Delta, but the car had the speedometer cable going to the left front wheel so I don't know if the transmission speedometer cable would work with it. It also has the long tailshaft so that would need to be changed. I'm in Medford Oregon, just across the border. John
