70 toro gt exhaust tips

Does anyone have photos or info on exhaust tips for a 70 toro gt. I have wondered if they would be the same as 442.

I am not certain but I doubt it. The trumpets were tailored for the cut out rear bumper. I don't think Olds would use them without the cut outs.

IIRC they were more of a 'Bologna' cut and not the 'trumpet' style on the 442/SX. This is a pic from the Fusick catalog for a '67 but I believe the '70 had a similar shape.

The 1968 and 1970 W34 had dual exhaust cutout bumpers. 1969 strangely did not, though they did have unique rear resonators. As shown above Fusick repops the tips.

However...

A good exhaust man can easily adapt the trumpets to the Toro cutout bumper. My 69 W34 has a 1968 bumper simply because I wanted cutouts (and I got it dirt cheap, NOS). I got a pair of Walker Olds trumpets and my exhaust guy routed them thru the cutouts perfectly. He was all of 19 years old when he did it.
