Rebuilding a 350

I have rebuilt engines before, just not an Olds. Is there a good step by step Olds small block rebuid book? And where can i get it? Thanks

Normally, I would NEVER recommend Mondello, but this is the best Olds specific manual that I have read. I think Joe must have written it back when he was in charge. Just DON'T BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM!!! Are we clear on that?

I read you other post asking about using a chevy engine, so you have decided to rebuild the Olds? Good.

I agree that Mondello's book is the one good thing they sell, but you can find several good Olds buildup articles on line for free. Here's one:

They do have a sweetheart of a oil pump relief spring that is second to none. Developed when Joe was there (as was the manual that Jim refered to). Double spring, less than $10. Good insurance. Otherwise, DO NOT buy anything else from those incompetent thieves.

i made the mistake of ordering a manifold from them. they sent the wrong freakin one and tried to blame it on us. needless to say i will never buy from them again

I looked at the site when I was building the 350, and it was like 2 to 3 times the price than Summit
