350 intake manifold
I have a 68 350 rocket engine with a two barrel trying to keep it looking stock are there any performance 4bbl intake manifold from oldsmobile that will fit on the engine. Will a 400 block 442 intake manifold fit ?

I think the 400 442 block was a different angle.
You could get a Edelbrock Preformer mani (#3711) and paint it (or powercoat it) gold ![]() They are pretty much the same as stock, flow wise at least. You could get an adapter for a 4 barrel carb to a 2 barrel mani

I believe the 400 is a big block and the 350 is a small block so the intake manifolds will not interchange. Edelbrock, Offenhauser, there are some stock aluminum manifolds for a 350. PAW (performance automotive warehouse) will have a pretty good selection.

A stock 68-70 olds 350 4 bbl manifold will benefit you.
The only stock performance manifold made was the W-31 aluminum piece, but it'll cost you a pretty penny. I've heard...and don't quote me, the edelbrock performer is pretty much a stock manifold cast in aluminum. Aside from weight, there's not much to gain. But I do like the idea of painting it and keeping a stock look. You can usually score one on ebay for about $100.00 |
