Question w-350 Intake or Edelbrock Intake

I have an original w-350 intake and quadrajet and an edelbrock intake/carb combo. In everyones opinion which one will give more power. I was thinking about selling the w-350 intake/carb and just using the edelbrock stuff becuase im really not a die-hard olds fan. I just want my 71 to be a nice driving car. any info is appreciated.

thanks

I think you would be happier with the stock set-up as long as you have the carburetor tune correctly. Welcome to our site.

Except for the aluminum vs. cast iron, the factory W-31 intake is no different from any other factory 4bbl intake. Sell it to a restorer for a boatload of cash and use the Edelbrock.

Yeah, what the hell, I'd ditch it if you don't care bout it. I'm sure 39 years of technological advancement since then will have your back covered on this one.

I like both, and I'm sure it will be a good running/driving car either way. Just depends on how big of a hole that 500 bucks is burning in your pocket.

I'd blow it on the chassis, with a nice sway bar kit or new shocks/springs personally though.

I meant the 500 it will be for a decent edelbrock setup.
