Portland Oregon here. Member of OCA, but not the Pacific NW.
Did buy some Cutlass parts from a guy in Spanaway. Got my '66 Jetstar 88 from an ebay auction. Then drove it home from Whidbey Island. |

Just east over in Spokane. Olds Club of NW? Had not heard of it.
I get over that side often. My Dad is one of the founders of the Lemay Collection http://lemaymuseum.org and we do quite a bit of car related events. Welcome to the zoo (Olds forum).

so who do you guys in Washington/Oregon have do your engine work? I am looking to replace my stock 350 but I dont know of any shop that does good work. Has anyone bought a crate engine from Precisionengine.com or can comeone point me towards a olds friendly shop?

I haven't heard anything *bad* about precision engine, but I don't really know anything about them. We do all our own work, the only things we're really missing is a welder and a plasma cutter...both of which would be EXTREMELY useful to have. Thankfully, I can probably bribe the college's auto tech and engineering departments into doing my welding for me. haha.

I havn't rebuilt an engine for a while, but I use a local shop to do the machine work and assemble myself. You might send a pm to Dapapadon in Portland and see if he can recommend anyone. John
