New guy needs help

Can you folks help a rookie out? I have an engine & tranny that I need some help with. Can you look at the pictures and identify them for me?

Do I see the distributor at the front? Ford, Buick, or Dodge.

No, that is an "extra" one. The distributor is in the back by the flex plate.

This engine came out of a ski boat my father in law built a long time ago but he has since passed away. I found this stuff in his shop under a bunch of junk.
