#8 Heads on a 70' Olds 350
It is claimed that the #8 heads don't flow as well as the earlier 350 heads. But, the main issue IMO is that the #8 heads have a huge chamber and will significantly lower the compression ratio when bolted on an engine with stock pistons.
No thanks gearhead but thanks for the offer. I just wanted to know as I had this motor in my car before i cooked the bearings. This combo seemed to run very nice getting tire spin hitting second gear in a 4000lb car. I think I'm just going to put a set of bearings in it and put it back together as a cruising motor.Thanks
