HUH? You want shorty headers for a SBO? What application?
I think Sanderson makes them, but I don't know the cost.
I thought you were going with a big block in the 70?

we were going to but we decided against it. we couldnt come up with a reason to trade a perfectly good runing 350 thats somewhat built ( we just dunno what all has been done) for a big block then have to pay to have it reassembled and then have to save the money to add aftermarket goodies. so we decided to replace the screwed up headers that are on the car, pick the front end up (some jack @$$ cut the springs) and try to find a better tranny and buld the 350 the way we want it.

I think Hedman is now making them too. Sanderson is probably a little better but costs more.

when you say 400 i think your talking bout the tranny? but nothing is wrong with it. but we need headers because the ones we have the bottem two tubes on both sides are crushed and busted open, so there is alot of back pressure and an annoying exhaust leak.

This was why I asked about the trans. I get why you need the headers for sure.
I had a 70 post with a 455 and headers. The front springs were SHOT and the headers became flat on the bottom because of it.
