Please cast your vote for your favorite new banner to be put in the header of the site! If you have additional comments, post them in reply to this thread - but you have to make a selection above to be counted.
UPDATE: Poll closed 6/5/09. Option 1: ![]() Option 2: ![]() Option 3: ![]()

Glad to hear it! Please cast your vote for it by selecting that one above. So far no votes there so I can tell you didn't check that one. Posting a verbal vote here below isn't the same as checking the box of your favorite.

Like all of them. #1 is the most eye catching though.

I would like to know where my 62 starfire and 63 olds 98s are represented in the banner on line 2? It goes from the 50s to the late 60s early 70s,this era was represented by the emblem found on the trunk lid of the full sized car (not the starfire deck lid). Can this be added to the banner?
Banner number one is an A body banner and banner number three has a fifty fifty representation. Just a thought. Steve |

I thought the original idea was to get rid of the goofy new logo and put something real in that vacant spot...and another brilliant flash is why not rotate the banners every three or four months so we all win...and you still haven't told us where the winner gets to vacation for two weeks, preferably with a nearby auto wreckers...
![]() isn't the '57 emblem almost the same as the '63...gotta keep everyone happy...

The rotation scheme did occur to me, but I'm not sure we can implement it. I'll be talking to the site's Unix guys to see if it's possible though.

So Option 1 is in the lead with 60.00% of the votes, followed by Option 2 with 26.67%, and finally Option 3 with 15.56% . Keep those votes coming folks!

I kind of like this one. With that soft blue back ground with the names all the way across. Just trying to help.

Well that's cool too, but a bit late to add to the voting. Perhaps we'll have a run off and include this one.

I voted for #2,but thought #1 would be nice if you could make the cars pop up or change around.Would that be hard to do?I'm a car guy,not a computer guy.Do you know what i mean?Like different models, colors, rotating or changing. That way ,you could incorparate all makes, models,in a varity of colors.Just a thought.
Thank you ,and others ,who contiue to make this site better.I appriciate it,later.BO

![]() As for the rotating cars scheme, that would require an animated gif (banner), and unfortunately the forum software won't support that in the header. Good idea though!

Please cast you vote above in the poll to be counted. Verbal votes are appreciated but don't count.
