x2, also a blue cutlass (71?) parked in a couple of scenes. A car guy bought the burger drive-in used in the movie after the original owner passed recently and hosts several cruise nights. Dedicated to keeping it local & authentic. Here is last weekend - they had a band and then showed "The Blob" on the side of the building.

Martin Sheen in the California Kid
was one of my favorites along with
Mark Hamill in Corvette Summer.
Ya gotta love American Graffiti.
Demolition man, oh yeah, just looks like
they trashed that 70 442.
What was that movie called with Melody Griffith
and Ed Harris and a 71 cutlass? There was cash
in the gas tank. It crapped out on the R.R. tracks
and they killed it.

Not really car movies but 3 of my favorites with dozens of cars to identify are:
North By North West;
Breakfast At Tiffanys;
Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
All great flicks, classics, and all in color.

That 57 Belaire vert in
the first Eddie and the Cruisers
movie was very nice.
They didn't show it going off the bridge though.

How about the sinking of the 59 Caddy vert
in 3000 mi. to Graceland? That sucked...

Movie Sharing

I gots a great idea!

(cue hearty chuckles)

No, seriously!

I read the above and went off to epay and bought Vanishing Point.

Cool enough movie. Seems like I did see it years ago.
OK, now I am done with it. Paid a whopping $5 or so for it.

How about we start a MOVIE SHARE forum?

I'll start here and we can create thread anew if need be.

Done with a movie- offer it up.
First customer gets it for postage
Or, if your finances are such that $5 is not that big of a deal, then it gets sent free to the recipient.

Basically, we can take turns owning such stuff.

If one drops off the list, oh well.

If no one else participates, oh well.

Who wants VP? Assuming I can still find it.
