I'm a huge fan of the factory race cars would be nice to have this one in the stable

 

Ihate myself at times back then we didn't have cell phones to take pics I had 2 cutlass s ,s I was to busy enjoying my life to take pics of my cars im sure my friends have pics of my old cars I need to ask them.

 

Nice '72 droptop Looks to be taken in the late 70's to very early 80's

 

 

Is this Beech Bend way back? If so I think this 69 is all black and pro street now. I think I ran into the owner at a local car show and he described the car as formerly looking like this.

 

No idea on the location Vista, it's another facebook snag that I haven't seen yet.

"Here's my barn find "El Malo." A '69 Olds F-85 W31 I pulled from a barn in Minnesota, where it spent the last 30 years of its life. It was a G-Stock drag car since day one and still wears its original graphics, which will NOT be changed. It's a roller as of now, but will be receiving new life and hitting the streets and strip by next spring. Anyone who's in the Chicagoland Area come and check it and my Fathers Red '69 F-85 W31 out at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show this November!"

There never was a BLUE Chesrown car. The car in that link is a fake. A known fake.

 

Fake or whatever it looks tastefully done to the era. I like it personally.





I guess the saying is "To each, his own" I wouldn't do it to my car but I respect the build of his, as long as he doesn't try to pass it off as authentic. Then it is buyer beware as with any car you don't know personally.

 

Ask Tweed about it.

 

Don't be so sure that the owner wouldn't. Their ethics are highly suspect.

 

I don't know the owner nor the car. I just stated it looked to be done up like the era and I personally like it. But if he tried to sell it as authentic then that's very shady and it falls on buyer beware.

On the other hand, I didn't see it listed for sale just under "Cool Stuff" tab. Wouldn't buy it myself if it were for sale either way.

Those are Fentons, not Raders.

 

And rumor has it, there is another '65 on the way and a '70 f85 (original owner) lurking in the shadows. Wayne truly is the "Ambassador of Oldsmobile Racing"; he and his family are a real asset to the hobby. I consider it a privelage to be their friend.

Great to see pictures of my Grandpa Al Seger and his cars. I was very young back then.. but I do remember some things I remember going to the Go Shop. I also loved his trophies down in his pool room
