What condition is it in? Is it original or aftermarket?

It's original, and I'd say fair condition, because someone drilled holes in it for a ball hitch or chain hook
I'll get you a picture today, I already have to take some interior pics for Redog on here today.
Keep in mind, that it's 140 bucks to ship these things.
I'd give you the bumper for free.
Have you any relatives in Chicago?

Hey, sorry to thread jack, but i had a quick question. Is there a difference between the bumper of a 71' 442 and a 71' s? And are they interchangable?

Joe might have a better answer for you than this but, I do know that they will both fit on the frame rails but exhaust tips may not fit from one to the other. I think 442 has cutouts for them.

The 442 bumpers have exhaust cutouts in the bottom, otherwise I believe they interchange.

The 71 and 72 bumpers are the same. The Cutlass bumper does not have the cut outs for trumper exhaust that the 442 bumper has. Otherwise, all is the same for bolting up and fit.

For anyone who is converting to a dual 442 rear bumper with trumpet exhausts, you're also going to have to change the exhaust support hangers under the trunk. They have a special flange design to properly position the trumpets in the cutout. They're available from GM resto parts supply houses.
