49 Model 76

Looking for the SS trim, driver side rear window, for my 1949 model 76 club coupe. Suggestions? Been looking for quite some time - Lora

Norm, I think she means the stainless steel trim.

Thanks for your reply. Here are photos of the passenger side trim, and the missing driver side trim. Hope this helps. Lora

Pic shows yours to be a Deluxe Coupe. Mine shows one, of my two, 88 Standard Coupes.

You need the Deluxe trim. I have a local source who has one. Will get his email and send it to you via PM.

Smile Yes, stainless steel deluxe trim

Wow - I am impressed! I really appreciate your assistance, and hope that I can reciprocate at some future time. My old49 is unrestored, 84,000 miles or so, and is my summer daily driver (as long as it isn't raining - leaky window gaskets). Everyone always asks- "Got the 8 in there?" (nope) and comments "I had one just like it." This bubble coupe has been missing this piece of trim for at least 19 years - hope this works out! Thanks again, Norm.

PM sent.

Seems I was incorrect. Olds only used that trim in '49.
