I got one for a 68. Haven't installed it yet ( too much other stuff to get to first) but the unit seems solid and matches the existing well. Picked it up from Tamraz, and talked to dave. Good people up there. He walked me through all my options what would be the most bang for the buck, what kind of feed back they were getting on the stuff from their commercial accounts and local body shops. I end up getting the imported 7 piece unit as it was a bit closer to the original in gage and patern acording to my discussion with dave, and saved a bit of money. They have a huge selection of options and havent steered me wrong yet. Great prices too. They can help you out.

I will call them and see whats new...about 15/20 years ago I had to use 65 chevelle repro pans because no one made them for cutlass yet...they were pretty thin...
I think the metal used in most of the factory body panels was 16 guage...18 at worst...my impression is that the stuff currently available is 22 guage |

I have no personal experience but I have read on a Pontiac board of people complaining the USA ones that Tamaz sells fit worse than the Tiwain pieces. ![]()

Nothing to do with the trunk pan but when I bought my floor pans I bought USA but didn`t use the drivers side since it was so far off.... bought the taiwan pan and it was a perfect match... go figure
my floor worked out to be 20 guage as well |

Hmmm...I will have to go back and measure again...The original trunk pans can rust a long ways before they go through...seem pretty thick....

That is what the sales guy told me. "The imported pans were of higher quality, and fit"
