1969 Cutlass Jack
I am looking for a jack that will fit a 1969 Cutlass S. I just bought the car and it has no jack or spare. Thanks

If you want a practical jack get one from an '80's GM that lifts from the frame, has a large round button that fits the big hole in the frame near the front or rear wheels; use the bumper jack for car shows and save the stress on your bumper...just wait until I figure out how to post pics, will I ever have fun

Sure, get an original jack to complete your car, just don't use it. A small "floor jack" is quite portable. |

I still have the one on the right. One on the left is sold.
$75 + shipping. It will work for your car, but I have no idea if it is the correct one for that year. Tom |

My limited understanding [maybe Wmachine knows for sure] is that different assembly plants had different colored jacks. I've seen both black and grey. Actually I have both black and grey]

I'm not sure if it was because of different plants, but I've heard it was different suppliers. Not one of those things I'm real familiar with!

Use the black jack on the drivers side, and the grey one over there
My '68 came with a grey jack but I too have black ones...the column is tee shaped, the hook is stamped with F-85...& or '68 ![]()
