Welcome Marcello,

I would try writing in the parts wanted section of this forum located here, https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/parts-wanted/. or reading here to buy, https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/parts-sale/

good luck finding your parts. American auto parts must be hard to find in Italy.

Marcello,
If I did not already welcome you, I do so now. I think you have come to the right place for help with your Oldsmobile. Good luck in your search for a connecting rod for parts.

425 Rods

Hello Marcello
I have a set but I'm located on the West Coast of the US. Please create a post in the parts wanted section to see if someone on the East Coast has them. That will save you several dollars in shipping costs. If you don't find them closer let me know and I'll provide a price and shipping costs for you. John

425 rods

Hello Marcello
OK, I have them but unless your in a real hurry I would suggest posting the parts wanted ad and giving that a few days to see if there are some on the East Coast. I suspect shipping from my location would add $30-40 to the shipping costs. I have shipped used rods/pistons before and they fit in two US Postal Flat Rate boxes with the pistons still attached. Since shipping overseas it may be worth the costs of removing the pistions from the rods here and shipping just the rods. I could check with my machine shop to see what he would charge to do that. I missed reading one of your posts. Yes these are used parts and another benifit of having a machine shop remove the pistons here is that he can check to make sure they are good and can be re-used.

Yes, we always enjoy seeing photos of Oldsmobile projects so if you have some please post them. John
