j-2 Man/and Carbs
Restoring my old v-drive boat,. has 371 with single 4brl, looking for J-2 set-up as was original in 57.

If you don't have the J2 heads, it won't fit. Too deep.

Thanks for the info, I assumed that this engine was originally J-2 equiped.,. Thus, if the 4blr manifold is installed at this time, a J-2 will not bolt on. Statement and question at the same time.

J2 Manifold
If the motor is a 1957 or '58 the J2 manifold will fit. It will not fit the 1959 371 2bbl. as the port spacing is wider. I have J2 parts. If you are still looking, send me an email wd50@sbcglobal.net
