1971 455. complete except for carb and starter. may need to be timed
was down to short block. de-carbonized, new head gaskets. has a dent in the oil pan and the pick up has a small bend. doesn't affect oil pressure.
cylinders are in excellent condition. worst problem is their is a carb bolt broken in the intake and someone tried to drill it out and messed up. ran it with two bolts and it runs fine but may need a new intake. crank is drilled for pilot bearing and has mount for clutch

Try Craigslist before sending it to the scrap yard. I've sold several blocks and cranks to local guys using them in their boats. And $600 or scrap yard is a big gap. If you priced it $250-350 you may have someone willing to drive a ways to get it. Not trying to insult you, just sharing some thoughts to help you move it. John

yes it is still for sale. if it helps i can load it into the back of a truck

 

it will also need an intake gasket
