Parting out 1965 F85/Cutlass

1965 Oldsmobile F85, either parting it out or selling it all as a whole. If you want it, by Monday January 25th the car will be up to parting out, till then its going as a complete car with that 330, just not all together. The frame is off the body and is ROUGH, it will need to be fixed. The body is at the shop, I cannot transport any of it since I don't have a trailer at this moment.

Body Parts: Fenders, Front Lights + Bezels, Hood, Chrome accents on the hood and front fenders, Front and Rear bumpers (Do have rot though, will have to be repaired) Bumper Lights, Both Drivers and Passenger side doors (Both have a bit of rot though but not anything that isn't repairable) Windshield wipers, All original rear, front, and side glass

Interior (All red): Front bucket seats (In great condition, out of a late 60's GTO) Rear Seat, COMPLETE Dash Board, Glove Box, Door Skins, Sail Panels, Headliner, Headliner Light, Roll down window cranks, Door Handles.(Oh steering wheel staying with me)

Mechanical: 330 Olds, Forged Crank and Forged Rods, Cast Pistons, Edelbrock intake (Will be cleaned) 3A heads, Terrible I know. But it something that could be a good start.

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch... so if your looking for some inparticular just ask and I'll see if I got it. If anyone is interested in the car, please send me an PM here on the forums and I'll be sure to get back to you.

Email sent about parts. Too bad your so far away as I've got a couple 1965 frames that I believe are sound. John

I just read back through your post. If you wanted to fix the body I may have patch panels I could cut from a parts car I have.

Its way way too much work for me, I know my limits of what I can attempt to fix and what I cannot. Thank you though, I appreciate it. Could you send that email to my ClassicOldsmobile account instead in a PM? For some reason my email is acting up.

I was unable to send you an email through Classicoldsmobile as that option doesn't come up with I hover over your name. So I sent a PM. Let me know if that didn't work. John

PM Sent back. Also sorry if I made this confusing, If the car doesn't sell as a whole by Monday the 25th, then it'll be up for parting out. BUT It still doesn't hurt to pm me about it so I know what parts to put aside.

Ya I would rather sell it compete. With the 330, TH350 trans, All the interior, Frame and Body I'm asking 1800. The body and frame will have to be taken away seperate since they are at 2 different places. This car is rough! Its worth the interior though. If your up to doing it then all the power to ya!

WOW a 65 "post" car going away; to bad. I absololutely don't have NO more room for another buggy. By the way I am also way over my head on my 64 "post" build in terms of knowhow, but I am willing to take the time to learn, borrow, practice and ask for help from fellow gearheads. "Post" cars are real hard to find to. My two cents....

Well the frame has rot though on all 4 corners and I can physically twist the rear part of it (After the rear end) with my own strength...

I've got a couple extra 1965 frames if you can figure out how to get one from Oregon to there! Or if it's just spots I could cut out sections for you to weld in? Just a thought....

Interior is being sold as a compete interior. Everything is is great shape except for the carpet that is a little rough. Also I have absolutely no clue what car these bucket seats came out of so I am going to do a little research before I post a price. More pictures on that later.

Pictures as promised!

All the interior is in mint condition! The back door skins on the bottom show this white paint which I can really only guess was a factory mistake I really have no clue! Took a bunch of pictures since I know how everyone loves pictures!

About that front end: Anyone who wants parts off that thing speak up! Cause its going to the junk yard soon!

What did you do with the hood spear and the eye brow moldings? I'm still interested in those pieces.

Are the 65 post car doors the same as 64? if so if they are rust free I would see about buying them.

Still got it! 8.2 10 Bolt, I believe it was a 2.73 gear or something like that BUT I might be wrong.

I have no clue but mine aren't rust free they will require some repair on the lower left hand corner on the drivers door and on the passengers door it'll need repair on the lower right corner. Other then that they really are solid.

yeah the backs would be a start, my F-85 is a very Granny, car has no seat belts or rear arm rests! I can assume the seat belts are the same red 64-65, as long as they are in good shape buckles are not rusted out and the material is okay yes I would like to those
