1966 Cutlass 4 door parts
I'm dismantling a 1966 Cutlass 4 door. It has rust around both the front and back windshields, trunk and floorboards. The 330 engine runs but compression ranges from 105 to 145. I'm planning to pull about everything I can off it for trade stock, then giving the rolling chassis to a friend who needs a frame. He's going to dispose of the rest of the sheetmetal. Anybody out there needing something especially sheetmetal please let me know as I hope to have it gone by July 4th. John

Wouldn't the door latches work on my '64 vista cruiser? I need both for the driver side. A/C car? need brackets and compressor.

Squirt, I've also got a 1965 4 door parts car so I'll compare the latches between the two. If they're the same I'll pull them from the 1966 and send you photos.
Wes, the drivers side is pretty good. There is rust just beginning to pop through, so it would need a patch but a small one. The passenger side has a rust hole through and I've got a tentative buyer for it. They looked perfect until I pulled the stainless rocker trim off! I've still got the 1967 Cutlass convertible for sale, I haven't been working hard at marketing it. If I sell it then I've got a nose from a 1967 Vista Cruiser that I won't use. The Vista fenders look nice but there's that same rocker trim that could be hiding flaws. I can send photos of the fenders if you'd like, it might take a few evenings before I have time to take them though. John

No problem John. I have one fender for sure that is half decent with brace intact just can`t remember which side it is. I will double check and let you know for sure but would love to just be able to bolt a set on
![]() Have you got anything done on the 442 recently? |
