1970 Cutlass Supreme
Hi all
I came across a 1970 Cutlass Supreme project that I couldn't pass up . I had planned to part it out and still may but before I start taking things apart I wanted to see if someone here wanted it for a project. Check out the photos on my photobucket site and if you want to see something that's not there let me know. It got the nose crunched but I don't think it got into the frame because the front bumper just has a dings in it, not badly bent. The color is green on green and it has a set of four 15" snap on center cap wheels on it. Downside is that it came from a crusher so for Oregon it would have a salvage title, one of the reasons I decided not to fix it. But if someone wanted to I could provide a decent front clip 1970 or 71-72 with everything but the grill panels and leave everything else on the car. Also I would include a set of doors with no damage. Price would be $1000. I could add a rebuilder 350 or 455 and TH350 for $1300. I could add a runner 350 or 455 and a TH400 trannie for $1500. It has bucket seats with no console and a tilt steering column. Non AC, but an aftermarket unit under the dash. Power drum brakes and power steering, a 2.56 open rear. The steering wheel isn't one I'm familair with and I misplaced my 1970 Chassis Service Manual so I'm not sure if it was an optional wheel for this car or not. I believe the halo top trim is all decent driver quality, and I believe the Supreme side trim is all good too, and long as some of the studs aren't broken on the drivers side front fender. I don't have a key to the trunk so I've not looked in there yet. If I part it out, I would want to keep the bucket seats, but could part with the green plastic back and sides, and I would want to keep the wheel trim rings, the rest would be available. I'll start taking things apart next weekend and what doesn't sell here will go on ebay. The photos are posted at:http://s90.photobucket.com/albums/k257/2blu442/ Check them out and let me know if your interested in the car or any specific parts. John

OK, I'll be parting out the 1970 Supreme described in the above ad. I'm not into the color green as I drove green Forest Service trucks for too many years, but the interior on this car is almost a jade color, I kinda like it!
