have a 65 olds dynamic 88 425 2bbl. if im not mistaken is the motor block and intake suppose to be gold and the valve covers and air cleaner a orangish color???? anyone no for sure. im pulling the motor on monday and plan on painting it while its out. thanks chris

 

Actually, all 425 motors (except Toronado motors) were completely red. Block, heads, valve covers, intake, oil pan. Only the 330 and 350 motors were gold. The 400 motors were bronze.
