Convertible top & cruise control

I have a 70 convertible and I'm buying a 70 Supreme Coupe for a few parts.
The coupe has a factory cruise control switch in the same location as my convertible top switch.

1) Did they ever put cruise on a convertible?
2) If they did does anyone have a photo of the switches side by side in the correct location.

I would like to take the cruise off the donor car and out it on mine.

Yes, you could get cruise on the convert (and also on a station wagon that had the rear window switch where your top switch is located). If you look on the backside of the plastic lower dash panel, you'll see molded-in features for two option switches side-by-side. You'll need to cut out the second hole to run cruise.
