I finally got through to Ed Stanchak, the Olds man at the GM Heritage Center. They have two basic "research packages" available. For Oldsmobiles made 1897 through 1976, they have a package for $25 which covers general year/model info such as production numbers, sales info, service info, and product description. They don't have any specific unit info due to a fire several years ago. For cars made since 1976, they have full invoice and build sheet records plus the other package for $50. They will need the VIN and a copy of proof of ownership for that one.

They also have sales literature, servicing brochures, and photographs for sale. You will need to contact them with your specific requests on those...the list is quite extensive!

Right now, the Cadillac and Oldsmobile records are the only ones available. The other GM records should be there and up in the next six months. Contact them at:
