I have a 1970 cutlass sx w-32 and was wondering how I could find out with any accuracy how many were made. I know it's a numbers matching car I checked the vin to the number on the block and have a build sheet for the car. I've heard a few different answers anywhere from 500-1500. just wondering if theres a registry or olds records i could check into.

The Oldsmobile History Center closed down in December but will reopen in July as the GM History Center, consolidating all GM records. I know one of the PR flacks there. I'll pass on the web address as soon as they open it.
