Where Can I Get A New I.d. Tag Made For My Transmission Out Of My 1970 W-30? While Cleaning My Transmission And Getting It Ready To Get It Rebuilt The Carb Cleaner Removed All The Paint Off Of The Tag. Phil (w30man)

Is there anything on the tag at all to identify that it is a real OD transmission?

Hi Phil
Look closely, isn't there an OW stamped into the tag, with the vin number? It might be better to keep the factory tag then try to change out with a repo part that may not look correct when your done. Your not the first person to wash the ink off the tag! If you really want to change it I did see one on ebay a while back, you might monitor future auctions. John
