Question regarding AC Delete.
1970 Cutlass Holiday coupe, looking to delete the AC, took the box out while building the motor, where can I find a heat only box for the firewall, what will fit? does a chevelle box match, I still have the blower, I am just looking for the quickest, safest way to go at it. Thanks in advance.

You might run into a problem a\c cars had a bigger opening in the firewall. You might have to weld in a metal panel to make it work. They make whole firewall replacement panels, but I would keep the a\c.

X2 on the A/C delete option. I too took a box from another car and the sizes were different. With the A/C delete it is a perfect fit

There is another company (name currently escapes me, I think "The Parts Place") that sells a metal delete plate that is cheaper than acdelete's. I bought mine through acdelete and you have to drill holes in the fiberglass and then worry about it cracking. Mine is in and it is functional but I wish I had spent less money for the metal one. I just found the link:
http://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/ocat...&YearList=1970 Just checked the link I gave you and it defaults to the regular catalog page, just go to the key word search box at the top of the page and type in "a/c delete" and hit search.
