I HAVE OWNED MY 1970 OLDS 442 W-30 SINCE 1974 AND I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT FAN OF THE DR. OLDSMOBILE. I WANT TO MAKE SOME HATS AND T-SHIRTS FOR MY PERSONAL USE (NOT TO SELL) BUT I NEED TO FIND OUT IF THIS LOGO IS PROTECTED BY A REGISTERED TRADE MARK OR IF IT IS COPYRIGHTED? IF IT IS DOES SOMEONE KNOW WHO CAN BE CONTACTED TO GET AUTORIZATION TO USE IT FOR MY PERSONAL USE. THANKS, PHIL (W30MAN) DR. OLDSMOBILE IS

im sure you will never be granted the rights to make such a product because they will most certainly copyright the idea and push it themselves and there will be nothing you can do.....mondello motorsports has the rights to the logo as dr. oldmobile is joe mondello...good idea though but im sure you can get a patch from them and sew it to a hat for a lot less trouble than trying to get rights from the company....mabye be alot cheaper too....just my advice.
