Quick Omega question
What year did Olds begin manufacturing the Omega? Is it '73? And then when did it get restyled?

1980 Omega X Body
Then they went to the X body, I think in 1980. What a pyle that car was, but it was the start of front wheel drive in the 80's with a transverse mounted engine and trans.

I remember seeing a '77 starfire which was about 9 inches shorter than the Omega and was I think the first time for the hatchback model too. I thought that thing was so cool with the quad headlights, for a long time I thought it was an Omega variation until I did some research. Anyway, a little off subject, sorry.....
