Starfire parts...Profit opportunity?

http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/cto/2937274408.html

This is very close to me and I have already contacted the gentleman.
Going to pull parts for my Delta 88 but...

Just wondering if I should pull as much as possible for it, i'm wondering what the value of some of these parts would be? Inside looks to be in pretty good condition, is there demand for these parts from forum members or otherwise?

Take what you can from that car!

Electric buckets are worth alot. Tail lights trim, etc.

If you have time and patience, you will get a good return.

I would say the Sfire only parts have some value but most of them are potmetal and if pitted are not worth anything. Rear bumpers are hard to find and the exhaust tips have value. A posi rear would have value. Rotted sheetmetal is useless. The 425 and trans will sell. Interior pieces would be worth $$ if nice as well as dash pad. I would think if you got the whole car for 800 bucks and has good items you could make some bucks. At 1800 I dont think much profit is there.

That's right along what I was thinking. Went ahead and called the guy back earlier but he said he didn't want to part out the car unless I was buying almost all or really 'expensive' parts off of it. He said its in restorable condition, but the likelyhood of anyone restoring it is incredibly low, and those parts will go to waste. Sad reality but there isn't much love for the Olds from what I've seen around here
