84 Firenza GT Hatchback

When was the last time you saw one? I'd answer "this morning." It's parked in my garage now, have had it a week. Cool little car, but a totally different ball game from the full size Oldsmobiles. Can't wait to get it detailed, new tires, and enjoy some good cheap fun. I had it down at the coffee shop last week, and came out and there was a crowd around it- no one could remember the last time they saw one of these J-Cars!

I had a four door supplied by the company I worked for. It was a great little car.

My mom had the Buick verison. She loved it but an idiot wasn't paying attention and rear ended her and totaled it. It was an 86.

Very nice little car. For 2 people it works. For more it doesn't. What engine? Looks like whoever had it before you looked after it quite nicely.

Anyone know or have experience getting the stick on graphics redone? The ones on the rear fascia are in bad shape. It's a real oddball car, but cute.

LOVE IT! I had the C***y version back in the 80's; great little car, w/a 4 cylinder. Loved the 4 speed shifting. My son finally drove it into the ground. LOL (now)!

Cool car!

The head gasket likes to break around 30k miles.

Nice. Takes me back, my wife had a '85 Firenza S. Her head gasket lasted to 122k on the 1.8.
It is possible for a nervous guy working on his first injected car to leave the fuel system in place while changing the head gasket. A pain in the butt, but possible!
