i have i actually just finished it. some info would be nice like what year and body style is your car, stock motor swaps or like me bigger intake and what not, things of that nature, i know i cant help you out as much as some of the people on here can but like i said i just finished mine so its still fresh in my mind. my biggest problem was motor mounts, which if your 350 motor and frame mounts are good you can use both of them on the 455 otherwise you have to use 455 frame and motor mounts. you cant swap those. i would also recommend using a th400 over the th350 just to be on the safe side but yea hit us up with more details about your project so we can further help you

350 to 455

It's pretty easy and straightforward. Do a search of threads and I believe you'll find some previous posts outlining the steps. John

I have a 72 Cutlass supreme which was an original 350 but had a 1970 455 in it when I bought it. I have had the engine in and out of the car 4 times. Motor mounts are an issue as the original do not handle the torque of the motor. Buy the steel mounts from Dick Miller Racing. Secondly I do have a Turbo 350 trans and it will be ok until I find a Turbo 400. the turbo 400 is the way to go. If you are putting on headers you will not be able to get these in the car once the motor is in. You may also have to move the brake junction box to the top of the frame if putting on headers. Other than that be care ful puuting in the motor if you have air because it is a tight fit and it doesn't take much to hit and crack the air housing and crack it. Also wrap the headers because they produce a lot of heat.

Not to be a smart @$$, but you might want to try a Buick forum.

It might take some work but I'm sure you could make it all Oldsmobile! I am more than slightly partial to the Olds 455 engine. John
