I just replaced My egr valve on my 81 ninety-eight and now when it is at operating temp and I accellerate it chokes out my engine. If I by some chance replaced my negative pressure egr ( Not that it was a negative pressure for sure, I tried to identify it but was unsucessful, I used the GM part number instead) with a positive pressure Egr could that be the problem. I crossed the OEM part number at the parts store and they gave me a positive back pressure EGR valve. Any guesses or answers?
Thanks alot guys
