Whats the diff??
Whats the diff??
I am getting very confused looking at parts catalogs for my 1966 Ninety eight LS.
So whats the difference between a "4 Door Sedan" and a "4 Door Hardtop"????
Mine is a 4 door what I assume is a hardtop cause its not a convertible but had a vinyl roof.

1965-68 LS are what's called a "pillared hardtop". They have B pillars but frameless door glass.
1963-64 LS are poshly trimmed high-top 4-door six-window hardtops with no B-pillar. Cadillac and Buick Electra also used this body style. Roofline is physically taller than the Holiday 4-door hardtop.
1969-70 could be either a Luxury Pillared Sedan or a Luxury Hardtop Sedan. Same interior trim level, just one had frameless glass/pillars and the other was a true hardtop with no B-post.
1965-70 LS were available with or without vinyl roof cover. The key to an LS is the interior, with the high-back front seat, LS-identifier door pulls, and the vanity set and storage pouches on back of the front seat.
