Newbie in the middle of a rebuild
Newbie in the middle of a rebuild
Hi! I'm new to forums in general and have found a lot of great info on here.
I've been a car guy most of my life although not loyal to any particular brand. I just like what I like. I picked up a '70 cutlass supreme convertible as a stress reliever for my wife and I who have 5 kids. The car was in ok, driver, shape. Looked good on the exterior and mechanically reliable. It was wonderful and served its purpose to put the top down and go for a ride. Unfortunately I was hit by a lady on my driver side my 1st day out of my second summer. This launched a rebuild/restore. One thing led to another before I knew it I was down to the frame and wondering what I got myself into but it's on it's way back together and hope to get it on the road this summer. I bought many 442 parts to put on it. I guess you could call it a clone but I really just like the looks of that style. Anyway, I appreciate all the info I find on here and look forward to more discussion.
