Greetings from SC...

Hello everyone. I'm new here with a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme notchback that I want to use as a daily driver. I am a total novice when it comes to things mechanical, but am eager and willing to learn. And this vehicle presents plenty of opportunities for that!

VIN: 3J57M2M254391
Cowl Tag: ST72 34257LAN544259 BDY
TR 979 50 T PNT

You'll find this site presents plenty of opportunities for that, too. Welcome. I'm a fan of the '72 Cutlass Supreme as well.

Welcome to C.O.
Looks like the PO got a lot carried away with red on the front of your car. Interesting effect.

Your description of notchback is correct; technical name is Cutlass Supreme Hardtop coupe

I'm in Goose Creek, South Carolina, about 25 minutes northwest of downtown Charleston. Years ago I was in Decatur, Georgia(North Druid Hills area). I miss Atlanta, but I don't miss the traffic too much...

I'll say. The 'resale red' is interesting in itself, and there are quite a few areas on the interior where they provided some extra for me.

Thank you for the VIN and cowl tag breakdown. (I had to search to find out what the B85 moldings were). So it was originally a covert beige body with a like vinyl roof?

Working upstate SC for a quick project. Was hoping to run into a fellow Olds nut.
