1970 Vista Cruiser
Hello all. Just bought a 1970 Vista Cruiser to restore. The car is a runner with a punched out 455 and dual exhaust. It has the usual rust issues for A-bodies.
I'll be perusing through the forums looking for parts (fuel sending unit for example) and advice to fix certain issues with these cars. They're pretty simple though, so there probably won't be too many questions I haven't already answered on my own over the past decades.

Vista Cruiser restorations
I also have a 70 Vista Cruiser but put a 72 front clip on it because I didn't like the center section of the hood hitting me in the head when I worked on the engine. I have owned several 69-72 cutlass' and currently have two of my own and one given to my 30 year old son. I preferred the 72 front end for the 442 grills and the ram air hood. The Vistas are more of a challenge than the typical 2 door cars. Fusick Automotive is coming out with more VC stuff but a lot of tailgate rubber is still not available. I don't check this website too often but you can reach me at joebrowncutlass@hotmail.com if you run into any problems. I am attaching three photos of my 10 year restoration project. Mojave Copper is the color from a 2009 Infinity color. Good Luck. Joe Brown in Austin TX
