Cool First post

Hi, new member here just posting to say hi to all the fellow olds afflicted people out there. I have had dozens of oldsmobiles over the last twenty five years .When marriage and children came along the cars were all sold but now my boys and I are ready for another oldsmobile. Iv'e been looking all winter for a 68 or 70 442 4spd conv but seeing the prices have recently expanded my search to include Rallyr 350s and vista cruisers. Well anyway hopefully something will come along soon its almost cruising time!!

Welcome to the site! If you would post your location and some parameters of what your looking for we'll keep our eyes open for you. When you get enough posts to get out of the newbie section you can create a thread in the cars wanted section. John

Hi, again I am located in Foxborough Ma. As far as the cars go, 1970 has always been my favorite but a convertable 442 4spd is way out of my reach. I started looking at 68s and they are cheaper but scarce. Rallye 350s are next on my list, again 4 spd and oh this is the real problem, I would like to find a #s matching car ( at least block and trans). Now Iv'e been looking at BB vista's with a decent color sceme and 9 pass. I know I'm asking alot but that is what I'm trying to do. If it ends up I get a vista it would soon become a 4 spd 442 ram air wagon. Any help is appreciated!! ...Tony...

Tony: You might consider a '68-'72 Flat Top wagon in lieu of the VC. Initial price would probably be cheaper, and still a good lookin' Oldsmobile! Aron

It's just a little disheartening when you look at a car that needs a complete resto and the price is 15,000.00 or more. At some point something will come along hopefully this spring!

Welcome. Did you see this? It's an automatic but the price is decent.
