I was looking to get my dash pad on my 57 done also and the cheepest I could find someone to do it was out in Cali for around 1500 bucks, I stripped the padding off mine and painted it and it looks good

Just Dashes in the Los Angeles area restores dash pads. They look perfect but are expensive. There are a couple of guys in San Diego that do a good job but I have no idea how their pricing is. I can try to find their name if you haven't taken care of it already and are interested.

As for the radio, check out turnswitch.com. they restore original radios and can also convert them to function like modern radios with Ipod input while maintaining factory appearance and controls. They are very helpful and have great speakers too.
