Headrest fitment?
I know the bench and bucket headrests are different somehow, but will they interchange? My buckets are missing their headrest assemblies, and it seems bench seat-type head rests are much easier to find.

Headrests
Sorry, they have a different mounting. The bench seat is one flat piece of metal in the center of the head rest that slides in and out of the seatback. The bucket uses two round rods that slide in and out, located on each end of the headrest. They're hard to find as people don't want to break up the set of buckets and head rests. You'll have to find someone who's seats are really beyond repair to sell them. I think your best bet would be to watch ebay, and expect to pay a healthy price for them. John

A-body buckets are solid gold. Shredded pairs with rusty frames carry $300 asking prices (as opposed to selling prices).

Headrests
To follow up on what Joe said the demand for these seats is huge since they will fit Buick, Olds, Pontiac and Chevy A-body cars from 1969-72. I know prices vary in different parts of the country due to supply and demand. A ratty set will sell for $250-300 here and that's still needing new foam buscuits and seat covers. I have a friend who works at an upholstery shop and I'm amazed how many people will think nothing of dropping $1500-2500 for a new interior. Maybe that's why all my cars look like clunkers, I'm not ready to drop that kind of money! John
