Interior 65 Jetstar 88
I am looking at having my upholstery redone, I have not decided if I want it put back to factory or custom. It currently has a starfire interior. Since there are no repro interios available, is there a way of getting the original design and where?
Thanks, |

You can have new door panels made at SMS, but not cheap and long lead times. They can also supply original fabric and vinyl.
When you say Starfire interior, you mean 1965 side panels with the stainless inserts, deep-pleated leather buckets, console, and sewn-in vinyl floormats? A SF interior in good condition can bring some coin, but I'd be inclined to leave it in there if it's not trashed.

I don't remember if it was 65 or 66, yep it has the inserts, but it had a bench bucket seat with a armrest in the middle. it's all there but the passengers seat has some tears. Mine is a vert so the upper rear seat is too wide for the top frame, just talked with a guy today about cutting it down if I can't find one for a convertible.
Here is pictures from my interior, do you know if it is from a 65 or 66? I think 66. Last edited by dennisspeaks; October 23rd, 2011 at 10:13 AM. |
