55 Olds convert sunvisor brackets

I took my sunvisor brackets to the chrome shop. When they put them in their solution, the end caps melted. I don't need the brackets, just the little caps that snap in. I think they were used on a lot of GM convertibles from the mid 50s to early 60s. See pic. The one on the left has a cap. The one on the right doesn't. Does anyone have some old brackets that I could get the caps from? Thanks, Richard
