convertible top install pricing
looking to have a robbins top installed on my 65 jetstar convertible. What should I look for in price ranges? I already bought the top and back glass, just need install. Should I have the top bow painted or sand blasted before install?
Thanks, Dennis |

Estimate about 600 in labor - it is not an easy job.
Talk to the shop first and mention what brand of top you bought. Some shops will only install certain brands that they KNOW are made right and will fit correctly. They should be able to fix up your bow, too, for minimal extra cost.

Just got done having mine redone.I paid $2000.00 for an Upgraded Top,New pads ,Glass Window and the install.I also took out the entire frame had it Sand Blasted and Powder Coated. It makes a world of difference. While I had the frame out I cleaned and polished all of the bolts, bought new bushings and she is just like brand new. I get more compliments on the frame . As Terry Carstens told me...Better to be done Right ..Than Right Now!
