65 automatic console and aftermarket shifter???
hello,
have anyone experience to bolt a aftermarket shifter(for example: B&M´s Megashifter or Hurst V-Matic 2 Shifter or .....)in a original automatic konsole from 65 442? thank you sorry i know my english is terrible but i hope you understand me... ![]() |

I had a similar issue because the original console was designed only for a two-speed auto trans. Technically, a three-speed trans would fit, but you'd lose the ability to shift into either Park or First.
My solution was to find another console that could accommodate the three-speed shifter. |
