Question 70 Olds 98 Front Bench Seat Question

I am planning to recover my front seat and got a lead on fabric through SMS from folks on this board (Thanks!). Looks like SMS has an exact match however; I am not sure how many yards I should order? Does anyone have an idea of how many yards I would need? @ $85 a yard I dont wanna order too much.

Best bet is to go to whomever you plan on doing the seats & let them estimate the amount of fabric they will need to make new covers.

Get them to estimate the front and rear seat. Rear upholstery is also almost 40 years old and may not take much to rip it. Get enough to do both now and you'll have some when the need arises- and it would probably be more expensive then.

There's that voice of experience speaking again...
